Jane Phillipson Wilson has been a trial attorney for 25 years. Following her graduation from the University of Michigan Law School, she moved to Ohio, where she worked in the areas of employment law as well as general civil litigation. In 2003, she was certified as a specialist in workers’ compensation law by the Ohio State Bar Association.
She taught workers’ compensation law at Cleveland State University’s Law School and was appointed Interim Associate Professor of Law at Case Law School, where she taught in the clinical program. She served on the faculty of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy for several years, in the Great Lakes Deposition and Expert Witness programs, as well as the Cleveland Courthouse Trial Academy.
As of 2009, she is licensed to practice in Michigan, as well as Ohio, and certified as both a general civil mediator and domestic relations mediator, after completing SCAO approved training programs. She provides mediation services as well as general legal services throughout Michigan.
She has represented plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving serious injury, occupational disease and death. A list of representative clients is included in the Resume section of this website.
